About Leelou Poppins

Leelou completed a bachelor degree in Education (2011) and a short program in Kid’s Literature (2012) at Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, a Reiki certification (levels 1 & 2) with Reiki Samasati school in San Cristobal de las Casas, Mexico (2013), and the Rainbow Kids Yoga Teacher Training in Montreal (2013). She became Ambassador of Nutopia in June 2009, when visting Yoko Ono's mind-blowing, heart-melting exhibition in Montreal: IMAGINE: The Peace Ballad of John and Yoko. She visited alternative schools in Québec, France and Belgium, cultivating a passion for self-learning and compassionate education movements, the benefits of yoga, playfulness, music and mindfulness for children and families.

In the past ten years, she worked and volunteered with children from different cultures, countries and mother tongue, in various environments such as schools, daycares, French Immersion programs, outdoor base camps, community events, festivals, etc. Since she moved to the Okanagan in 2014, she shared Rainbow Yoga love and joy at Apex Moutain Resort daycare, Jumping Beans Play Café, Naramata Community Market, Naramata Playschool, and more. She created the Website Peace. Love. Yoga. to support her work and as contribution to make this world a better place.

"The same substance composes us
- the tree overhead, the stone beneath us, the bird, the beast, the star -
we are all one, all moving to the same end.”
- P. L. Travers, Mary Poppins

~ Rainbow Yoga ~
"Our unique style of Rainbow Yoga is communal, interactive and fun! It celebrates life and brings people together! [...] In Rainbow Yoga we connect with touch, massage, hugs, dance, we move together and we co-create the class in a magical way that creates a playful space for everybody to feel loved and nurtured. [...] We practice in a circle, often connected through body and heart; we honor and celebrate the circle of life." - Rainbow Yoga

"All grown-ups were once children...
but only few of them remember it.”
- Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince

~ Crowdfunding Campaing (May 2017) ~

Money shouldn't be a boundary to yoga playdates:
this is why I offer them mostly by donation.
This is also why I volunteered so much time to put this website together
and spread the yoga love even more!
$ 1010 were raised online
between 24 generous daydreamers,
peacebuilders, and changemakers!
~* Warm thanks and hugs to all Peace. Love. Yoga. backers! *~

the kids and the grownups
who are doing extraordinary things to make
the world more awesome."

they are felt with the heart.”
